Leicester helicopter crash that killed club owner ruled accidental
The deaths of five people, including Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, in a helicopter crash at the King Power Stadium were accidental, according to an inquest jury.
Srivaddhanaprabha, a Thai tycoon, was killed along with four others when his helicopter crashed in the club’s car park and then exploded after a Premier League match on Oct. 27, 2018.
The helicopter had cleared the top of the stadium before it started to spin and then plummeted to the ground before bursting into flames.
The inquest jury’s report was published on Tuesday.
